Made with love in The North

The Ark began after having my first child, Noah.

Always on the hunt for personalised items for his nursery or for him to wear, I dreamt about creating my own items for others to enjoy. I’ve always thought that there’s something a little more special about personalised items: something to keep and cherish, which creates a fond memory to look back on.

With a career in Education, I’ve always found the most precious gifts from students to be those that have been made by themselves and personalised. With The Ark, I wanted to create personalised gifts and items for the whole family.

With 2020 being a testing year for all, my first collection was released in November 2020, ready to make Christmas 2020 extra special for families.

My goal is to curate small, carefully chosen groups of products that can be released together and made available for a short period of time. That way I can maintain the ‘boutique’ feel, and each of my customers knows they’re buying something unconventional, instead of the familiar store bought, high street experience.

As a busy Mum, currently awaiting our second child, and still working in my main job during the week, my products are carefully hand-finished and personalised during my free time.

I can’t wait to share this new journey with you all and look forward to releasing many more products for you to enjoy!
